Arrived today while I was away on the boat! Lovely thing. Thanks - will fly with pride, or something..... Should there be a ceremonial hoisting, sorry, striking isn't it, of the burgee? Maybe raise a glass as SWMBO struggles to tie it to the mast?

Of dear, oh dear, oh dear.

The ceremony is quite simple. You hoist the burgee, which signifies that free drinks are available and the resulting mob of forumites will raise a glass, or two, of your booze.

Honest, you'll be chuckling afterwards, in the off licence, replenishing the depleted stocks of your best malt.

Hi Jim, hlb was totally honest, I turned the pile of SAE's upside down, and hlb put the flags in as to the order presented.

Mine arrived last week - been away so only just got it. Very nice quality and bigger than expected, it will be flown proudly from a dedicated pole on the pulpit I think! Thanks again HLB for all the efforts to make it all happen.

Perhaps it could be attached by the pointy end to the top of the bow flagstaff and used as a spinnacker in a following breeze........sorry, wrong forum...

Warranty lasts hopefully till it's just been delivered, then goes into self distruct mode. Bit like the new carrier bags.

Right folks. I collected the rest of the flags today. On the way to the hospital.

I'll get them off tomorrow.

Cheers Haydn, as a village yokel, I haven't remembered to collect from my post office until today.

Burgees even better value, as they are bigger, with nice soft white rope bits.
