bouy now found many thanks

Hello I would be very grateful for any suggestions..after a 36 hour chug over from Ijmuiden,I have been on Halfpenny pier for a couple of nights and have totally fallen in love with this area, and plan do do some gentle exploring of the quiet bits after weeks bashing around In Europe.
But I have to leave the boat to go to London for a week or ten days max before I continue cruising.
I would like to leave her on a buoy,by arrangement with a person or boatyard, the only essential thing is being able to get ashore and somehow get a bus to a railway station.
Starting from tomorrow ideally although I can always hang out for a day or two on the Harwich buoys, but they won't let me leave her unattended.
Draught 1.3 m, disp. 2 tons.
Thanks in advance for any leads,or on the off chance anyone here is off on a cruise and left their buoy empty...
Cheers Jerry
edited to add, can't "take the ground" as such, but if the keel squishes into a bit of mud at LW it would be fine.
Edited again to add,I have found one already!

Hi Jerry - glad you got over OK.

I think that you are being a bit optimistic to find a free mooring with a trot boat! The obvious place is Shotley but that'll cost you £20ish a night but there is a bus from there to Ipswich station. Or you could just go to Ipswich (the Haven Marina is the best) and the station is a 10-15 min walk.

Certainly lots to explore on the east coast.

I have a mooring @ Ramsholt but no buss or train

It might be worth contacting the Felixstowe Ferry Harbourmaster, John White (contact details in the local pilot books).

There are swinging moorings at the Felixstowe Ferry (Deben entrance), a £2 each way ferry available ashore (Deben Ferry, Ch8), I believe a bus from Felixstowe Ferry into town (John could confirm), and a railway station in town.
