Bukh oil filter

I have been using Halford's HOF200 oil filter for my DV20 for quite a few years now. My annual pilgrimage to get next year's replacement ended without success, though - their range now seems to start at 201! Are there any other 'high street' alternatives?

Eurocarparts may well have the Mann equivalent and be much the same price and local.

Thank you for the link, Vic and Colind. I tried the HOF200 and the original Bukh part number in the cross reference tool - they came up with a different list of alternatives! Maybe the Halford's filter I've been using all this time isn't the correct part.

My "Jobs and Information" file for Osprey has:
Engine: DV20ME, number 107881
Oil filter: FRAM PH2964 / UNIPART GFE 348
Fuel filter 1: FRAM P4186 / MANN WK712/2
Fuel Filter 2: FRAM C1191PL / MANN P917X
I order the filters via amazon towards the end of each season, use the previously ordered ones for the pre-winter service and keep the new ones on board as spares. The Mann serial numbers will readily identify them on amazon.

Thank you for that, Steve - now noted in my own file! Halfords say the HOF200 is still available - although in none of my local shops. I have requested 'click and collect'. Here's hoping - I do like to patronise the local shops if they have the things I want.

Zombie thread alert!

My Bukh has a fuel filter of the bowl type, it unscrews at the top to reveal a paper inset filter. Does anyone know of a generic replacement? I was quite happy to pay Al and Norm at Bukh, but when they retired their replacements were, hmmm, less helpful.

Here's a note I made a while ago:

"Photo on ASAP website shows the fuel filter element for BUKH DV10 to be a MANN P715

Mann P 715 Fuel Filter Element as Volvo 876554 and 870065 "

If you go online you can look up alternatives to the MANN P715.

I was unaware of a Bukh oil filters with a separate insert, but the earlier models did have that arrangement for fuel filters (which is what Charlie Boy was asking about). I don't know of generic replacements for that, but you can get the real thing from T. Norris Bukh Fuel Filter - Small Element Type (Older Models)

Just to tidy up, sgr143-your post was extremely helpful with the oil filter thing but my fuel filter arrangement is not the spin on type, it’s a drop in paper cartridge.
Putting the Bukh part numbers into Google gave several options but favourite seems to be Bukh DV20, DV10 Fuel Filter 610D0053 who seem far more reasonably priced.

I've bought this one for our old Bukh, with the drop in type filter, and it seems to fit / do the job...
