BUKH DV10 spares

I think you'll find the following will do.

MAIN FUEL FILTER (on engine)
1. Crossland 5005
2. Fram P4520
3. Bosch 4099

I can't remember whether I got these from this forum, or some notes from the previous owner. I have got a couple of spare filters on the boat, so I'll try to remember to check when I'm next aboard.

While I'm at it:

OIL FILTER (identified by various sources, including this forum, previous owner, and some matches thrown up by online vendors' adverts.)
1. Knecht OC198
2. Mann W712/4
3. Halfords HOF200
4. Champion C104/C106
5. PH966
6. Ford AP1011
7. Crossland 2022 or a 691 depending on level of filtration wanted, 573
8. Fram PH966B or PH 46
9. Crossland 691
10. Wipac CA 130
11. TJ FB 5311
12. Motorcraft EFL 84
13. Unipart GFE 240
14. Purolator PC 201
15. Coopers COO 285 Z25
16. Mann and Hummel W7 12/6, W 712/4
17. Bukh 610J0050

Alternatively, ASAP list spares (including fuel filters) by engine, and here's a link to the Bukh DV10 page: http://www.asap-supplies.com/marine/spares-for-bukh-dv10-marine-engines

Thanks very much for that John.I managed to get an oil filter locally but you can see the prices vary enormously. With those references I am sure I will in the very least be able to get an equivalent locally.
Anybody know if fan belts are interchangeable?

There will certainly be equivalent belts from other manufacturers. Although T. Norris list Bukh belt as only £8, I'd be interested in any equivalents that people know of, in case I'm in need of one in a hurry or out of the way location.

The alternator belt on my DV10 is Roflex brand, and is marked '6491 ROFLEX Z 43 10 x 1090 [51]'.

Thanks for that but I don't have a phone & that website is about the worst I have ever seen. What a way to run a business!:nonchalance:

Those two guys know everything about Bukh and nothing about the web.
It is more incredulous that you won't deal with them by phone than that their website is less than you would like.

Gentlemen; The cost of the phone call either on the pay as you go mobile I own or from a phone box would probably out weigh any cost savings I could make ordering things using that website for simple things like filters & fan belts so it is a no brainer.
I hope this explains matters :)

I agree that that's a good idea to keep one in reserve for emergencies, that's what i'm doing.
Mine is just marked 30 30 one over the other.

It's not a matter of any cost savings (I doubt they're the cheapest). It's just they will know exactly what you need and be able to supply it.
