Bukh 24 thermostat

Hi folks. I realise there's umpteen threads on this but all the information I've looked at , the Allen bolts seem to be accessed from above. Attached photo of my new to me boat , seems their are two bolts hex headed from underneath. Or am I incorrect , and my Allen heads are snapped below surface....
Now to attempt to attach pic......thanks in advance.

The diagram in the workshop manual appears to show hex headed bolts from below. ..................... Be very very careful how you remove them.

Wing commander, the arrangement you were thinking of is for the Bukh 20. Bukh 24s like you have are different in this respect,as per VicS usefully posted.

Thanks for the replies, looks pretty obvious looking at the exploded diagram. Will try with gentle persuasion before sheer brute force .
