Buggered weekend

They've only gone and cancelled the regatta we were sailing in this weekend- gutted, because we even went out and had a practice and I also took the dinghy and outboard off the boat to turn it into a sleek mean racing machine.

The alternative is now babysitting 3 kids of some friends while they go off to Rick Steins and stay in a hotel tonight ( Birthday)

Hi Dralex!

Yeh, I've got some sympathy for you! However, look on the brighter side. You're in the same neck of the woods as me, the wind's coming up quite a bit now as I look out of the window, and the weather forecast is for rain and high winds ..... so maybe you can console yourself with the thought that it MIGHT be rotten out there tomorrow!!!
