Has anybody got a buffer to keep there pride and joy blinged up ?! If so do we have any reccomendations ??

For a polisher, IMO you can't go wrong with http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing-machines/das-6-pro-dual-action-polisher/cat_81.html or http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing-machines/das-6-dual-action-polisher/cat_71.html.

Small enough to get into tight spots and light enough to handle all day but you might want something larger depending on the boat size. Other recommended polishers/detailers can be found on another great site, Detailing World.

I use the stuff from www.boatsheen.com

I works for me. The polisher in the previous post looks a bit small for a boat, and for me would take a long time.

I have used Meguiars Boat Wax - read the small print. Some are for hand polishing as opposed to machine polishing. I find the Meguiars good but if you surf through the car blinging websites there are better products if you want to use a 'buffer'. I have bought stuff (and received great advice) from "Rubbish Boy" - no, I'm too old to understand it either. Anyway google it. I bought a cheap Silverline from amazon, and spent extra on various pads.

The Silverline at Boatsheen is cheaper. Even if you do not purchase from them, they give a lot of very useful tips on cleaning, prep and polishing.
