Anybody after a reasonably priced buffer polisher (£45) might like to look on ebay. Search for 'trade polisher'. Just bought one and was quite impressed, took just a few hours to get a better result than last years two hard days by hand.

Cheers

toolstation have what you need for about £45, and sponges, polishing heads and -I think-cutting compounds. Its a bit heavy compared to a £300 professional model, but seems so solid it looks like it will run forever. For that price, everone should get one unless you have a jolly big boat-in which case maybe someone else does the job for you!
