Budget anti-fouling or not?

I have a yacht based on the Hamble. I currently use International Micron anti-fouling which is a strong self eroding type and works well for me. Only problem is the £81 for 2.5litres. Force 4 have suggested that I switch to Seago's equivalent product at £35 for same size tin. 2 questions in my mind - will it work well enough? Will it react or flake off if the International stuff is not removed? Help much appreciated...

Call Coopers in Southampton - I got 5 litres for 40 quid from them at a jumble last year, and it worked almost as well as any other on the river in 2004. Recommended.

There have been quite a few posts on this subject, and the general consensus seems to be that cheap anti-fouling performs often as well as the most expensive.
