Bucket list of the world's great races

Yes, there are great races in far off sunny places where you can take part if you're a millionaire, I'd love to do them. An absolutely classic race in my opinion though, nearer to home is the Round Anglesey Race, very tricky with lots of difficult nav, tactics and extremely beautiful scenery if you have the time to look and it isn't raining or gone dark. I've done it in 10 hours and 24 hours.

OK not the most challenging or competitive of races, but it has to be one of the most sceanic - besides they have a class for the type of racing where you can keep your dinghy on davits :0)

This year there was racing off Raiatea, Taha'a and Bora Bora. It was a tough gig....

Costarmoricaine, and the Stockholm Archipelago Raid. Not yachts but special races, done one off to the second in a couple of weeks. Both F18 events with a considerable amount of navigation.
