Don't have one but know one or two that have and been on a cruise in company with one. Nice boats with the usual Broom build quality and seem to handle the sea well. Plenty of space but obviously a big boat with big boat running costs. Couple on with NYA at the moment.
Word is that Brooms didn't make a profit on any of them - no idea if that is true but they were built at a time when quality was important. I think MBM did a test report some years ago - can probably order the article online for six quid.

Thanks a lot. I have the reports and they seem very good. Will have to throttle back to save fuel but then we rarely tend to go beyond Brighton/Weymouth now. Just interested in any advice from owners about things to check if we decide to go ahead.
