Bronze through hull fittings.

Two short and sweet answers, no problem with them. Bronze has no need for an anode, it will last for many years perfectly well on its own. Bronze cannon recovered from the sea after centuries of immersion are often perfect. Connecting bronze to a bond circuit can have an adverse effect on other fittings of lesser metallurgy, which can corrode preferentially.

I have been trying to find out why advice in USA is directly opposite from this. It seems it is to help to dissipate lightning strikes, nothing to do with corrosion protection.
