Following the recent campaign regarding the importance of using bronze seacocks and skin fittings, I have tried to find an online supplier for such things, but with little success. Can anyone recommend a reputable company? I would like to continue using ball valves in preference to the traditional Blakes type of seacock as I the position of the lever will not be altered.

Apologies if this question has already been asked in a recent posting.

Many thanks.

www.asap-supplies.com list ball valves and fittings and clearly label those that are DZR and therefore suitable for salt water use. You should also find that supplies in chandlers are becoming more clearly labeled as other suppliers such as Aquafax update their packaging.

Even Blakes Seacocks are now DZR. But on the positive side they now have a grease nipple for top up greasing and the handle is now clipped on and has positive stops rather than that square key which the first mate always managed to pull off.

Just bought a whole load of new fittings in DZR from ASAP, next day delivery, good service.
