I have been offered a boat by a very helpfull broker who is not a memmber of the YBDSA but the BMF.
The same boat is on offer through a v. large brokerage co. at the same asking price.
I am a liitle concerned in parting with 100k to a one man band. Should I go with the large Co. brokerage.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

A one man band can sometimes be very knowledgable in a specialist area so I would not dismiss him on that front. As ABYA brokers we follow the code of practice your main concern should be that he has a dedicated (escrow) client account and carries professional indemnity insurance. (ask to see a copy of the certificate and evidence of the account)
