I seem to have "broken" my Swiftech m298 radio. Not by dropping it or immersing it in water - but by accidentally holding down a couple of buttons while the radio was on /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

So, now I have a radio which for all intents and purposes is broken, as when I turn it on the display flashes the following:

With the green "receive" LED on all the time.

OK .. its not physicaly broken in anyway - so does anyone know how I can "reset" this back to its inital state?

Any help appreciated.

Regards,
Jeff.

I'm not familiar with this radio, but try taking the battery pack out for a short while. If it doesn't work at first try increasing the time up to a few hours. There is a possibility you've entered a diagnostic or setup mode, for that one you'll have to call a dealer with a workshop or email manufacturer.
Be aware that if you completely reset the radio it may lose all the channel programming.

Should have said - left the battery pack off for a day - it did not make any difference.

What ever happens, I can be no worse off than I am now /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
