Yesterday my mother-in-law had a fall and broke her arm in two places - ouch me thinks as SWMBO dump me and the kids back home and races off the 40 odd miles to take her to hospital.

Now that was just after we went to collect new curtains for the lounge but - you guessed it - no buttons on the pleats and cushions and tie backs not pipped with the correct material.

So today - I'm in charge of the 4 kids - SWMBO stayed at her mothers - and were off to a Hockey Tournament all day. I'm kn*ckered already.

Then next weekend SWMBO may not be able to come to IOW as she may be looking after her mother and father who is disabled. Also bang goes the painting I had planned on the boat this weekend - having rubbed it down it now looks worse than before I started - will I get it done in time for next weekend - I doubt it..........

Now I understand what a woman does ................................. respect or what

Sorry to hear about the accident. Perhaps instead of Yarmouth we could have a paint party at your boat on Friday evening, you supply the booze and we can get painting /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif Then you will be OK /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
