The boys are already there. When I lived there a nearby sign said 'ici commence la Normandie' About once a month it was corrected by the locals to 'ici commence la France', then the equipment would have to send a chap round with a scrubbing brush! Good luck with the move.

I must protest. I think you'll find Brittany is more or less 'real Cornwall'. Indeed it's our colony.

No. They do play rugby but the CRFU won't play them Cornwall because it will upset the old farts at Twickers (what this has to do with Yachting I don't know?).

I tell you wahat Brittany wont be doing, and that's taking part in the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, unlike Cornwall, hopefully.

Though I noticed a chap from the RHS said Cornwall was an unlikely place to grow it. When pressed to say where was best he said.... Essex. Course, we've always known it rains less here.

South Brittany.

Arguably, after the Western Isles, the best cruising ground I'v experienced. I'd rate it alongside the Rias Biaxas.

However it's very much more welcoming and less threatening than the N Brittany coast.
