well, I hunted high and low, but no, I had to put up with Jimmy, as a very disappointing third.
So, the north hall now has the electronics, which did mean that side of the show seemed reasonably active. Not as full as some years ago, but not really any different to a quieter night on any other year. Certainly a few empty spaces where some saily things might have been, but a pretty fair showing.
In the powerboat hall, there were a few names missing, and maybe a few names scaled down a bit, but in terms of boats, there was plenty to see. It was quiet. It wasnt empty, but it was very quiet.
But hey, so what. Had plenty of time to chat and nose about the few boats that I really wanted to see, and as we left, SWIMBO said, "You know, I really enjoyed that."
Isnt that why any of us go ?
