It appears to have steps build into the rear of the strut leading down to the sponson (visible in the second photo). Presumably the sponson is approximately at pontoon height when in the water.I've got two questions. If you park it alongside a pontoon, how do you get on and off it? Secondly, surely a £15m boat ought to have a jacuzzi?
Yes you're right it's pretty much what my 53 footer consumes but surely fuel efficiency must be one of the reasons for building it? There are not many boats of this size that could cross the Atlantic at 17kts. I'm assuming that it drives on 1 engine only when at sea and the other 2 props (folding?) are for close quarters manouvering and get home situations only?Can the fuel consumption really be right (Table of figures at bottom of page).
120l/hr at 17 knots for a vessel that big sound increadible. Thats less than a conventional monohull FB of aorund 60ft
