On an otherwise deserted AIS view, there is currently (Sat 28th) one solitary yacht AIS trace heading up the Adriatic - a british flagged Swan or similar.
Just been into Mali Losinj for an hour.
Clearly we don’t know the reasons, and may be a mercy mission or other critical need.
But I wonder how popular they will be sailing into a Croatian Island harbour, and with nothing but Croatian and Northern Italy coasts ahead they may be being slightly optimistic?

You don't have to look that far afield. Just look in Loch Long.

Yes, if I was going for a sneaky wee cruise in the Clyde for the weekend, not sure I would choose to tack up past the MOD Plod at Coulport as the ideal route. The guard boats there are bored silly in August, so tend to come and give you a look - in an otherwise deserted Clyde in March, it must have made their day - and perhaps become the most reported boat movement in Scottish officialdom.

Three boats off Kip this afternoon also going for a wee sneaky sail and one out for a motor.

Current emergency doesn't apply to them obviously.

At the moment "High Spirits of Lorn" associated with MR STEVEN SWEENEY (according to ITU MARS database) is just south of the Gantocks having been for a wee cruise to Arrochar and Lochgoilhead. Is that the Moody you spotted yesterday?

U Maloj Lošinju možda biti da sretni su, imati novi brod!
Did you know that Mali Losinj ("Small Losinj) is bigger than Veli Losinj, ("Big Losinj") a couple of KM away? I was due to be sailing there this summer, but mislim da neće biti mogućnost.

Yup. Now heading towards Largs.

With a “naval auxiliary vessel” heading down behind it, also apparently heading for Largs (not somewhere they normally frequent) :) At least it is not the “black RIB” brigade.
Maybe she was stolen from James Watt Dock yesterday, has been retrieved, and is being taken to Largs by Police.o_O

Anchored in Loch Long (or picked up a mooring?) last night and with a NW tonight,Millport should be a good choice for the night.

The high spirited sailor seems to be going for a full on Clyde cruise. From Millport on Cumbrae now sailed round South and West of Bute up to Tighnabruich.

Starting to get jealous - lovely weather for a spring cruise like that, shame we are unable to do it.

What makes you think there is someone on board? perhaps he is sat at home with a remote watching on AIS and has a video camera on the mast.

Sounds like an extreem for of social distancing to me. Perhaps he is a live abord =in which case he won't have left home and won't be breaking any rules.
