On a recent ferry trip from the Isle of Wight to Southampton I noticed that the hulk of the replica Britannia had disappeared from its mooring off Hythe. I'm pretty sure she was there in May this year. Does anyone know her whereabouts and what her fate may be?

Wasn't the original steel/iron? Not guggled it, just memory, maybe faulty..
The real thing was definitely wood, but with some steel frames. She was copper sheathed with (get this!) cold rolled copper sheets, as opposed to the usual hot rolled copper, because King George V reckoned she went a but better with the polished surface of the harder cold rolled copper!

Her saloon doors are in the RHYC library.
