Would it be worth getting ipc involved in the festival and a dedicated pontoon for forum boats? Who will be going?

Last time I looked at a Bristol Harbour festival ad it was extolling the virtues of bouncy castles and mime artists! ... I didn't go!

I was actively involved with the Festival about 40 years ago when it first took place. Then it was a boat rally with waterbourne activities and races.
Now it seems the entertainment is primarily non nautical with the harbour "full" of boats just for the visual appeal. Plenty for non boaty people; very little for sailors.
I haven't bothered attending for years.
