Brighton Marina ... is this taking the piss ?

Our annual contract with Brighton marina runs out at the end of this month but we have another six weeks before moving to Barcelona (after having been here several years). They want to charge us the visitors daily rate over the six weeks, which works out to 2 1/2 times what we have been paying.

Unfortunately, I now have four tenders! need to sell two of them! before I can afford the rivarama, plus I will have to strengthen the davits! So should be ready when you get here!

Pauline, cant you ask Premier for a 2 month extension to your existing contract? If they will allow 10 month contracts, then a 14 month one should be acceptable?

It does seem a bit steep, why not try offering a lot less IN CASH, it rarely fails for me.

Bit steep that, maybe visitors monthly rate but not daily.

Standard requirement for a marina company is to "take the piss" or if not take every penny you can from the punters......If you can't take a joke you should never have taken up boating.
