As you all know I believe in praise as well complaint about the service I receive.

I’m the number one supporter of the staff at Brighton marina due my experience of their high standard of customer service and knowledge of berth holder’s requirements. They’ve never let me down yet.

On Saturday at the SBS I found out why, I met their manager Andrew. This guy must lead by example. He’s right on the ball with all the needs and concerns of his customers, he’s friendly and can hold a reasoned and informed discussion with his customers. This is a bloke I can get on with.

Premier, you’d be totally mad if you ever let some other marina company poach this guy.

To other marina companies, be afraid, very afraid. With this type of manager in the industry your days of poor service and indifference to your customers needs are well and truly numbered.

To all my fellow Brighton berth holders let’s be thankfull for what we’ve got. To berth holders in other mariners “Eat your heart out”.

I arrived last Friday afternoon at Royal Clarence Marina, Gosport, to find the marina manager washing seagull pooh off my boat! What IS going on?!

Was served drinks by Tony Keeler (New MDL MD) and Mike Gates which helped give us a jolly time at boatshow . Thanks to them for their hospitality which I hope will now extend to seagull pooh cleaning etc.....
