Came into Brighton last night, on passage from Scilly to the Medway. Found berths freely available, a very professional and welcoming reception from the shore team and post-dredge (least) depths as follows:
Entrance channel: Navionics rise of tide plus 1.6m
Fairway to pontoons 5-10: Navionics rise of tide plus 0.2m
A couple of hours’ of tide therefore required for most fixed keel craft to enter or exit pontoons.
