I recently bought an E120W secondhand. All seems to be OK, but can anyone tell me if they are supposed to remember the last setting of the screen backlight (brightness) at the time of power-down?
My unit always wakes up at full backlight which may be what I will need in the summer but it is annoying having to manually turn it down for every-day use.

The backlight on the E-widescreen series is so dim, it seems unlikely to me that you would ever need to turn it down other than at night! Mine certainly comes up at full brightness, but that is where I would leave it, so cannot comment on the extent to which it remembers that configuration item.

If I recall correctly my E120 (classic) does remember its brightness. Most of the time for daylight I leave it on full, but at night even on minimum it is still too bright. The exact opposite of an answer already given! At night on full brightness you could have a party in the cockpit...
