Brightlingsea Model Boat Show

Good stuff,

It's a bit worrying that some of these folk can sail their models better than I can sail a full sized version. :)

The Aircraft Carrier is huge!!

If you think that aircraft carrier is huge have a look at HMS Kent at http://www.cygnetsmbc.com/

She is 3.7 metres long and went down the river Medway including through all the locks under her own power radio controlled from a chase boat.

There is something to be said for boating where you can pop it in the boot of the car and take it home to work on in the warm.

That's a fair sized boot !

I take it that there are no laws relating to incorrect use of ensigns on models.

Do you have a model ice-breaker?

Well yes actually it was in and on a Peugot estate.

The hull is in two sections and each part of the superstructure fits in its own box for transport.

As for flags not sure which instance you are refering to.

Could this be a forum first if we start a model flag etiquette thread.
