It is rumoured that the E.A. are giving consideration to a "Brighten the Thames Initiative". Surveys have shown that the public at large prefer to see vessels that are coloured rather than the overwhelming preference of motor cruiser owners for white. One consideration is for colour to be added to the length and beam reqiurements for the licence. All white vessels would pay more. Owners not wishing to pay more would have the option of making changes. Does the Forum think this is fair ?

I thought this was already in force, the regulations call for a neutral black hull colour and a primary (white strictly banned) coloured superstructure decorated to the owners personal taste, the default design being a Rose & Castle theme:D

A bit of colour to brighten up the drabness and downhearted feelings.

Add a touch if inappropriate Ensign wearing and you're away.....
