Go down stairs and find laying on the mat under the letter box a bright glowing object, what can it be it's it's.......

This is all excellent news for the new editor. Everyone with a subscriptuion has already bought another copy from wh smiths PLUS they get a third copy in case the subscription copy was the wrong month...

I took up the discount subs offer at LBS commencing with March issue and lo & behold last week February ish turns up in the post, which I'd already bought and been given a freebie at the show. Good organisation eh? Rings them up, girl on the phone says she's already had loads of similar calls. So when will I get my March edition???

Apologies for the problem, which was raised on another thread earlier this week.

It's a specific issue with the way that subs were handled at this edition of the London show; namely (and somewhat ironically) we tried, apparently, to respond to previous criticisms from some buyers who wanted Feb issue commencement. That meant bypassing the normal computer system which in turn upset the applecart. It won't happen that way again.

I am promised that all oustanding issues of MBY March are on the way and I have also requested and received assurance that all London Boat Show subscription orders will not include Feb 03 in the account (ie if you took a 12-month sub it will expire with Feb 04).

PM me a name and address and I'll happily put a March 2003 issue in the post for you today as a safety measure.

Excellent so I am gonna complain every taht that I don't get my subscription mag and I can then pass on the spare copy to my mate when his subscription runs out this April.

Just as well you don't know who I am Kim ;-)

PS I think our subscription is in my SWMBO's name anyway..

Seriously Kim & co (sounds like a dance group!) the mag arrived this morning and I've a e mail to tell me another one went out today for delivery tomorrow.
Yes the cock ups been a pain to me and no doubt everyone else but at least you guys have sorted it out, so many thanks.

Are you going to be asking the advertisers for a rate hike bearing in mind you've "SOLD" all these extra mags this month giving a massive increase in circulation numbers /forums/images/icons/smile.gif?
