Bright Spark 2 B Sure anti fouling system

Has any one any experience of this unusual Dutch made electrical anti fouling system. It works in theory? by discharging copper Ions into the water arouind the boat. This is meant to stop animal life growing on the boat. This is for an article in MBY on the system in which we would like a personal case study/studies.

Can't help on the case study, but i'm very interested to hear the results of the MBY trial. Could this finally be the answer to stern gear fouling?
