We are looking to replace an ageing inflatable with something capable of carrying four largish adults. The new one must have some sort of keel, be foldable and preferably lightweight.

Any recommendations?

Also does anyone have experience with the Ukraine-made BRIG brands? Does the lighter weight cloth mean it will tear more easily, or has modern technology made a difference?

We had a couple of Brig tenders, one with center console and one smaller without , we never had any problems with them, only reason I bought a Rib eye replacement is its half the weight and Aluminum hull

We have an XM Brig 275 RIB - very heavy to cart up a ramp or beach away from the tide.
We fitted a good pair of transom wheels (from Germany) but the balance still means
it's nose-heavy and the fuel-tank at the front doesn't help.
The dinghy is rugged though, it lives on davits all Summer, it's side tube hard against the boat
and on the hard in Winter, right-way-up so as not to rub the tubes on the ground. No signs of damage.
we got it with the boat in 2006 - no idea how old it was then.
The only down-side is those awful captive oar/paddle things...
