In conclusion, without all the fluff, this place is not a good stopping spot, so I'm making a run for Scarborough this afternoon. I missed my Whitby window this morning thanks to the met office.

Is anybody else finding their forecasts are becoming VERY unreliable?

The weather and the forecasts are so changeable - I don't think the forecasters have a clue. They seem to work on the basis that if they tell us its **** and then it isn't we shall be relieved. If they tell us its going to be fine and it isn't then we accuse them of luring us out under false pretences. Doesn't make jorneying very plannable nor the next two weeks that we were supposed to be afloat - two weeks with no sun and intermittent showers - great

Great to hear you are well on your way. Having been out of circulation for most of July I need to catch up - well back at work tomorrow so pleanty of time there!
