Just fitted a fishfinder to my Hardy Mariner and BTW thanks to the forumites who gave this electrical illiterate the info required to do that. I mounted it on the top of the dash in front of the screen and had to drill a 16mm hole to pass the cables. This enabled me to find that the "plastic" was in fact a full centimetre of gel coated glass fibre - talk about solid :encouragement:
