Have a weekend at the same on board TM. with bruv and Mark and Joe (with his much modified and much WORSE rebroken ankle)!!!..... ANYWAY .... they have all gone, im in the cabin fed n watered....its 20.30hrs..... I KNOW !!!... I,ll stroll round to A pontoon to visit Winchy51 of this parish on his Sealine S25....arrive to find him about 50ft from his berth in all sorts of mega deep dog doodoo!!!! he and his mate Dick have just come back from a fab afternoon in Cowes and for those that are "in the know".. A pontoon is the one near the trees and mud bank !!!... he has a birds nest of rotting 10mm rope jammed between his props and in turn which is anchored to the bottom !!!!!..... engine was stalled by the same !!!!...... poor Winchy51 .. if he didn't have bad luck he,d have no luck at all !!!!.... Dick made repeated attempts to throw me a line allways just to short !!!..... a chap called MikeH99 of this parish (all 6ft 6 of him) offered to help by using his brand new out of the box heaving line !!!!......oh dear !!!!!!........lovely bright orange spaghetti !!!!!! that didn't reach !!!....... so guess what ......guess who went and "borrowed" a tender and rowed out to him to bring a line ashore (cheesy smile) !!!... after 2 attempts because the cold wet knots "fell undone" and I had to row back again, we got a line on to the pontoon !!! by now Winchy and Dick had managed to lift the weight off the bottom and we pulled em into the birth....the rope as it turned out, was attached to an old (very old) car gearbox bellhousing !!!.... SO !!!!!!..... there we all are 4 blokes all standing and wrestling on a finger pontoon with mooring lines and this 2cwt block of iron hangin from Dick and Winchys oily stilt caked arms, transom, mooring lines pontoon etc etc etc .. by now Winchy is in the cardiac arrest area when he just had to stand up straight or pass out !!!! leaving the rest of us to deal with the offending hard ware.... on standing upright "WINCHY,S" trousers fell down !!!!..... the amounts of roaring laughter are still rolling round the trees !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....and what made it worse was that "Clint Eastwood" had to pullem up !!!!...(because he had the cleanest hands)........just thought I,d post this incase anybody watching thought it was a liberal party event !!!!!!

Hi RR.......... your post sums up the whole episode in 1 !!!!!!!....... as you say, it just got sillier n siller but the "trousers" just finished us off !!!!!!

Hello RR props came off ok new before Easter chewed second time out in all the excitement when I got home props still in the boot should have dropped them off at hamble props going to post them down in a mo Draw breath for 3days then do it all again
