I’m delighted to announce that as of mid-March, Bray Lifting Limited will be providing lifting services at Bray Marina. This will include survey and emergency lifts and the usual seasonal lifts out for winter maintenance. Based at the TBS Boats Bray office at our Bray Marina, Simon Allum and his team will now be able to look after all your craning needs.

I’m aware that some members have previously booked to re-launch their boats with us the week commencing 5th March and we have been contacting those members directly to discuss re-launch options which may afford cost savings, more flexibility and more time to complete works to boats.

If you haven’t made your lift out plans for this year and would like to lift your boat ashore before the start of the season, then please contact the TBS Boats Bray team on 01628 773177.

Obviously I meant to type 'marina' in the title, or 'marinal' for those of you from Bristol

They still having problems? - The office told me a few days ago they'd had an electrician in to sort it and were now monitoring it...
 
I've not got any specifics, just heard from another forumite (who may or may not wish to identify himself) that there were issues with the power supply on I pontoon, so emailed the office to check.
 
Doubt that, I have nearly 2Kw of lovely warmth keeping everything rosy.

Due to the engines being encapsulated within heated areas, no need to winterise, and all the interior trimmings think it's Summer....luvvly jubbly :encouragement:

£100 a quarter. Well worth it :rolleyes:

Under normal conditions perhaps the odd boat would be drawing few amps every now and then to top up batteries. probably to merely due to bilge pumps.

If the entire section on pontoon decides to activate a couple of 150w watt tubes + humidifier if temp goes below freezing, likely to show up latent faults.

Over 50 boats on my section of mooring.
Went down today to check boat, weird walking up the pontoon in 300mm of virgin snow with nary a footprint to be seen.
My good lady insists it is 20 mins walk to the boat and it felt a very very long cold walk today indeed..

Some years ago a plug was featured in Motor Boats Monthly, called ThermoTxt which I purchased [I have no connection with the company, just a satisfied customer] .
Great bit of kit and tells you by text if the power goes off and what the temperature is. It will also text when the power is restored also with a temperature reading. You can also send it a text and it will reply with the temperature at that moment.
It gives great piece of mind in these freezing conditions and saves trips to the boat to check the power is working.
