Can some helpful forumite remind me of the date of the BCC "do" and make some arrangements for some decent weather this time ?
Oldgit prefers about 20C until at least bedtime.(9pm ish)

Ps.Can bring along some photos of an actual "defaced blue" if anyone up there is curious as to what one looks like. !

Bray Cruiser Club are, however, holding an event on 18th September if that's of any help.

Well said. While I can't vouch for the weather, there will be a camp fire at that event, though I doubt it will be lit before Oldgit's bedtime...

As Brayman quite properly points out, the popular organisation is not actually some kind of Gay operation like Oldgit insinuated, but one for the Boating fraternity, even though there will be a 'Camp' fire!

We ritually deface Blue dusters, so don't worry about bringing your own....
