can anyone tell me how the B3 waterpump works ?
I know that the pump is on the engine but how does water suck up from the drive when it is dry (after lay up)

Stuff muffs on it and hold them on the drive, then fire the engine up...that's what I did.

Make sure all the drain plugs are closed and do that and before you know it the water is coming through. I usually change the impeller each year too, it should be taken out when laying up, and then greased heavily when returned. This gives the impeller some lubrication whilst the water comes through.
