HI

Binliner is going back in the water tomorrow after anti-fouling and VERY expensive outdrive repair. Whilst out I unscrewed the bung to drain any surplus water. When refitting should I use sealant or just leave brass against brass??

I don't think you need any sealant, but don't quote me on it.
I see by your profile that you are berthed Fleetwood. A friend of mine is considering moving from Windermere to Fleetwood. Tell me, were exactly do you go from there, Isle of Man & Ireland presumably ? what other area's can be covered ?

That all depends on time... generally people travel down to Wales, upto Scotland, over to Ireland, IOM etc.. It's quite popular there at the moment with boats coming over from Windermere, and also filling up fast. When's your friend thinking of coming over?

He went for a look around a couple of weeks ago, said everyone there was very friendly. Currently waiting to here of a possible job relocation down south so looking at end of summer I think.
