Brass Builders plate

The boat is coming out the water next weekend, so I am thinking through all the stuff I would like to do over the winter.

By way of a 75th birthday present for the boat I would like to fake up an oval brass plate to fix to the forward bulkhead, with "Jas Miller & Sons * St Monans" round the outside, and the boat name and year of build in the centre. Anyone had something like this made for them? If so who did it, and were they any good?

Send Moray MacPhail at Classic Marine a MS Word doc with the design laid out, ie including the shape etc, and screwhole cross-hairs, he'll get it made. Mine was an ellipse about 6" x 4", with screwholes, cost me about £35 3 years ago. http://www.classicmarine.co.uk/
