Anyone else going along to Branson's attempt to break the world record for crossing the channel in an Amphibious vehicle on Monday? He's going to cross in an here.

Should be quite entertaining. We're apparently following him over in RIBs.

I thoroughly enjoy my job, but I have to say I think going over the Channel in a Rib following the Aquada will beat the crap out of one of my normal mondays. What have you planned for Tuesday and wednesday?

I guess its a down to their Flying Club. That or the fact that I'd just bought return tickets to San Francisco for the tribe (at school holiday, ie. extortionate rates *sigh*).

Should be fun. I'll try and get some photos.

hm, anyone know where to rent an Aquada? Could be good fun to give him a race. I bet he is a right wimp and won't nail it quite as hard as poss, and also single handed the aqauda will defintiely go a bit faster. Taking an egr is a waste of time imho- the thing will work for an hour, or won't.
