Just bought a 12x9 approx hatch to put in the saloon deckhead. there is currently no hatch. it's a Sadler 32. Cored deck which curves.
I have no real preconceptions about how to approach this or how to do it really. I may bottle out and ask a pro but I'd like to see if I can do it myself and do a nice job. I was originally thinking that I'd have to make a frame up from teak but on doing a bit of googling then it seems it might be better with less chance of leaks to do something with GRP (I've not used any GRP/resins) to any extent at all so treat me like a baby.
how would you do it please? Keep the advice simple/step by step please
