For the benefit of those reading this thread and not sharing in some PMs - I have downloaded the 31/03/08 Balance Sheet of Port Flair Ltd (PM me your email addy for a copy) and it has allayed any concerns about vunerability.

It has also confirmed that they can afford to dredge the creek!

I am pretty certain that if they are intending on having berths for 50 foot stinkies at Bradwell, then it is quite reasonable to assume that we lesser mortals and our MAB's should soon have no problems with all tide access!!

I'll join yer berth holders association. Having to wind the keel up is a right pain coming in at low springs :)

Seriously though it has got noticably worse over the past 2 years. One of the other issues for 50ft mobos is the rather tenuous path through the moored boats in the creek. Maybe its just me but I always seem to lose my way coming in amongst the floating and grounded moored boats.
