I know Roger (MoodySabre) tried to plot accurate depths v time last year for access up the creek, cant remember what happened with that - maybe he can enlighten us on his return.

I dont mind organising it, if anything needs to be organised that is - do we have to ask in the office, inform them likely numbers etc etc etc. Perhaps more importantly, get Mick to stock up on /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif in the bar /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif ?????

Alan , stick a note on the calendar and a link in here and I'll keep my ears open for some means of attending , every spare minute these days is spent trying to get the boat done so I can launch in time , but only time will tell if I'll make it

Hi again, Bradwell Marina on the Blackwater at 55.44 N 0.53 E. There is a bar on site and the (in)famous Green Man is just around the corner. 10 miles east of Maldon by car.

I guess the fin keelers may well come into Bradwell at or near HW 11am, and possibly stay overnight. I will probably go for a sailin the morning and be back 1pm or so, so I guess there will be people around from 11am onwards. Lets see how it develops !!

Would love to Dougie, but transport and accomodation problems make things a bit difficult. My boat isn't likely to be up to the trip by then even if her crew were, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't like to attend, if you know what I mean.
