In my ongoing quest to find a suitable Motor Boat for overnight River use I have been offered a vgc 1992 Sea Ray 290 for absolutely silly money catch being Engine was removed!!!! Spend more money n a boat I hear you cry

But as said this is silly money. The 1991-1993 Searay 290 has a open walk-through transom with a decent enough swim platform where an outboard of reasonable size say 60-70hp could be mounted on a bracket and given that the 2016 onwards Sea Ray's come an outboard option this wouldn't look too odd.

My question is what brackets are on the market that would be suitable for the standard transom swim platform Mount on a 1991-1993 Sea Ray 290

Regards ?

Yep that looks feasible wasn't just restricting to brackets but didn't know what other option were available so that helps greatly
Thanks ?

Haha I am single hence I can buy a second boat, I travel alot so this will be more of a stay aboard multiple nights a week but not quite enough to be permanent ?

Don't know why I deleted the origin version of this
