It may be of interest to anyone heading that way.. Bozborun is no longer a port of entry into Turkey.
Apparently Marmaris was losing business to them, and took away the status. We arrived there last Friday from Symi, and could not check in,but stayed a couple of days anyway, and did the business in Datca.
The locals are obviously not happy about this, and held a meeting on Saturday along with the mayors etc.

Also......regulars in Bozborun will know Osman, he of Osman's place. Today he is in Ismir ,having major heart surgery to treat a long term condition, and will be out of commission for several months.
Let's hope it goes well, for his and Lynn's sake.

We have met Lyne and Osman a couple of times and hope they will get through it ok, They have been busy with the new contracts they have with charter fleets using there lovely restaurant, but Lyne was saying that the locals don't want yachts coming in the marina anymore and want it kept for the local fishing boats instead.
Obviously Lyne and Osmand are concerned the affect that would have on their business....hope that works out for them too...
