First thing that is on the Nolan Radio Show is people asking about regulation... truly a terrible accident but whatever happened to common sense these days?
From reports it sounded like the whole area was hiving with people, jet skis, power boats, sailing dinghys with speedboats circling people in the water !!

A dreadful accident, but a SIX year old, on a wave board - being towed at speed through a crowded beach area? FFS what were they thinking!
I hope he recovers from the injuries he has been given, but in my view, the boat driver should be prosecuted for criminal neglect! Why don't people do this sort of thing in clear water? It would only take a few minutes to get far enough away before deploying the towing toys in relative safety.

Not much point in any punishment then. The boat driver will carry that guilt for the rest of his life.
