Is the 10:30 a definite. One of the pro photographers said it was arriving and departing during darkness.

Weather for Boxing Day looking a bit poxy. Don't mind getting wet from one direction but when it is coming from both then an open sportsboat is not much fun, especially with wife and kids. Still you never know, the weather forecast has been changing so still a chance.

According to the Cunard web site Queen Mary II should be berthed by 14:00. There is mention of fire boats although whether this has been cancelled after the shipyard accident I'm not sure. At 1,132 ft long, 135 ft beam, 157,000 HP giving over 30 kts and 150,000 Tons displacement then it will be quite impressive.

Should be an amazing sight - my parents have a trip already booked.
What a boat.
When they get this big they are no longer called ships /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
