Box for instruments

Can anyone suggest supplier of box/enclosure for binnacle mounting chartplotter . Box size min 40cmL x 27cmW x 10cmD.
Preferably resin/plastic based.
Am looking for cheap solution.

Why not make your own using foam sheet and fibreglass.

Try Maplins or similar - they supply a variety of plastic boxes with internal stiffening and screw on covers for electronics. I use the smaller ones for distribution and fuse boxes on the boat, and for mounting things like alt regulator, split charge diode etc

Buy a proper Navpod, the cost of them is worth it compared with replacing all the kit if you put them in an inferior box that lets the water in and ruins them!

I'm with Damo - a Maplins box does the business at a fraction of the price. Just junk any mild steel lid screws and replace with ones from your box of useful stainless steel screws.
