Hey! does anyone recognize the brand and/or model of this boat? She has been heavily "customized" and is probably from 1990's, the only distinct features that are original is probably the aft side of it.
I've tried some google searching but nothing similar came up unfortunately

Thank you in advance!

As nice as it looks, why haven’t they detailed the outboard ?

The boat looks great from a distance, but when you start zooming in you'll see that it hasn't been done that well, we actually purchased it recently and are planning to fix the shortcomings! We were told it was a Bayliner 175 from 1989 but upon researching we couldn't find a 175 from 1989

My first boat was a Searay 175 (can’t remember the year). Since both Searay and Bayliner are owned by the same company, the differences were minor, eg the Searay had wrap around windscreen. Of course, mine was the inboard Mercruiser 135. So, in summary, nice boat, shame about the motor (Mercruiser)

Gotta love those small boats! This is our first purchase as well, loving it so far.

What's wrong with a Mercruiser? We were actually deciding between this one and another boat that had a 3L Mercruiser (probably the same as you had). They're super common here in Europe too

They were at one time the most numerous boat engine in the world but a pain to work on (as is the Alpha drive), much better to stay with an outboard. Also, with an inboard bowrider when you get water over the bow it has no run off, so the bilge pump has to be constantly on (and even lakes can get rough). The outboard version should (hopefully) be self draining
