The heat exchanger is connected to the top of the engine by a cast aluminium 90 bend with a 2 bolt flange on each end. The flange pictured is damaged to a point where it is no longer servicable. I've tried Bowman, Mermaid and Lancing but no luck. Wondered if anyone had one of these on a scrap engine perhaps or knew where one might be found. The engine is a Thornycroft marinised Fordson Major.

Thanks in advance

wouldnt be that difficult to get replacements cast in aliminium, or remote mount the header tank & pumb with rubber pipes.

we had a pair of OM314s which had similar header tanks remotely mounted.

you could probably use a couple of 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 nipples and an elbow and weld self fabricated flanges on the ends.

go to google.com and type in thermostat elbo and then click on pictures , there must be one there that could be adapted?.
